Education

Our post-secondary repayment systems are a racket. I believe if you go to school here and use your education to work here in Maine you should be reimbursed for your expenses and investment.

I’ve been encouraged by recent expansions into Maine’s technical centers, trades, and apprenticeship programs and feel we could do even better by showing support for those participants investing to our State too.

Having recently transitioned to the Special Education field, hearing Maine Department of Education wants to eliminate Maine Child Development Services is appalling. The need for support services is on the rise– while direct support staff and Occupational and Speech Therapists are on an industry decline. Maine must do better for our children with Special Services needs and the teachers and facilitators that support them.
